Biospheric Urban Activities

The Biospheric Foundation CIC is challenging the current contemporary food systems and investigating some possible answers with its cutting edge research, interconnected food growing systems and locally run distribution network.

We just have launched the Biospheric Urban Activities, an exciting year long programme full of tours, workshops, courses and other events. We can’t wait to share our research, skills and enthusiasm and through our activities you will experience the urban agricultural revolution first-hand.

All the activities take place at the inspiring venue, the Biospheric Project, where we have transformed a disused mill in the centre of Salford, on the banks of the river Irwell into a thriving agricultural space. Part farm, part laboratory and part research centre, all embedded in the heart of an existing community.

If you want to know what is going on in our biosphere, then keep an eye on the Biospheric Urban Activities
